Levinson Axelrod Gives Back

The New Jersey personal injury attorneys at Levinson Axelrod, P.A. have been working closely with local New Jersey communities for over 70 years. By defending the interests of accident victims and actively investing in local non-profit organizations, the Levinson Axelrod team actively participates in the lives of the New Jersey families they serve. It is the firm’s hope that their continuing commitment to make a difference inspires others to look for opportunities to be of service, and that together their combined efforts will make an impact, one family at a time.

Fifteen years ago, the employees of Levinson Axelrod adopted a youth shelter in Middlesex County and have been an active partner in their continuing outreach. Investing in the local community enables the Levinson Axelrod family to connect with the neighbors they strive to protect in the courtroom.

An on-going commitment to participate with local shelters, United Way, the American Cancer Society, and St. Jude’s is being felt throughout New Jersey, and has ensured that each attorney and their team members are vested in the counties in which they live.

Cynthia Niziolek originally came up with the idea to work at the Middlesex County Youth Shelter during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, and later, administrative assistant, Kathy Telepun, took over the program. Both women have helped to organize the efforts of Levinson Axelrod employees and worked to maintain a close relationship with the shelter.

During Thanksgiving weekends, Levinson Axelrod team members bring the supplies and manpower needed to create a full Thanksgiving dinner for kids at the shelter. Desserts, candy bags, and treats are given to the shelter’s children in an attempt to make their Thanksgiving weekend special.

The Christmas holidays are also marked by special events and participation by the Levinson Axelrod staff. Each child receives an individual gift basket (including large plush towels!) and the shelter receives quality-of-life items such as TVs, game consoles, or furniture.
