Family dog bites toddler

A family’s pit bull attacked their 18 month-old daughter earlier this week, and Animal Control has stated that the dog will be euthanized. The girl is in stable condition at a local hospital in Orlando, Florida after she suffered a severe puncture wound to the face and several other lacerations caused by the dog’s teeth.
So far investigators and family members do not know what could have provoked the animal. The family has had the dog for the past eight years. Her parents claim that she was on the floor in front of the television when she got up to pick out a video; moments later the dog bit her.
