Physician is found guilty of practicing without license

Posted on Tuesday, December 8th, 2009 at 4:52 pm

Local man was convicted on charges of practicing medicine without a license and stealing $122,000 from Medicare and about $28,000 from other medical insurance carriers.

He is awaiting sentencing at the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center. He is facing 21 and a half years in a New Jersey state prison.

This is not the first time that he has been incarcerated. In 1996 he was convicted on nine counts of sexual contact for fondling patients and spent 178 days in county jail.
